Al weer voor de vierde keer staat Carolina de Holanda met Mariachi Los Tarascos op het programma van Dias Latinos, het festival waarbij Amersfoort zich twee dagen lang, op 21 en 22 augustus, in Latijns-Amerikaanse sferen hult. De organisatie heeft weer een prachtig programma samen weten stellen met diverse top bands verspreid over acht podia, en Carolina verheugt zich er op daar een bijdrage aan te mogen leveren. Traditiegetrouw staat het Onze Lieve Vrouwe Plein op zondagmiddag geheel in het teken van Mexico met folkloristische dansen en authentieke muziek. Het spektakel begint om 13.45 uur, Carolina en Los Tarascos spelen drie sets tussen 14.45 en 17.45 uur. Ya por cuarta vez, se presentarán Carolina de Holanda y Mariachi Los Tarascos en Dias Latinos, el festival que transforma Amersfoort durante dos dias (21 y 22 de agosto) en una ciudad latino americana de fiesta. El comité organizador logró de nuevo juntar muchos grupos musicales y de baile del más alto nivel, que se presentarán en ocho escenarios por todo el centro histórico de la ciudad. Es una tradición que el domingo la plaza mayor 'Onze Lieve Vrouwe Plein' se llena con mariachis y bailarines de México como si fuera Garibaldi. For the 4th time, Carolina de Holanda and Mariachi Los Tarascos will perform on Dias Latinos, the festival that tranforms Amersfoort in a Latin American city for two days (21/22 of August). With the best latin bands and dancers on 8 diferent stages in the old center. It's a tradition that on sunday afternoon, Mexican musicians and dancers take over the big plaza 'Onze Lieve Vrouwe Plein' and turn it into a 'Garibaldi party'. Dit jaar, 2010, viert Mexico groots z'n bicentenario. Dat betekent dat Mexico 200 jaar geleden, na drie eeuwen overheersing door Spanje, de strijd om onafhankelijkheid begon. Tegelijkertijd herdenkt Mexico de revolutie die precies 100 jaar geleden begon. 'Stichting María de Lourdes, Stem van Mexico' wil dit feit ook in Nederland niet onopgemerkt voorbij laten gaan en organiseert daarom in samenwerking met de Mexicaanse ambassade een serie van vijf concerten in het beroemde openluchttheater van Valkenburg met de artiesten Carolina de Holanda, Mariachi Sol y Luna van Indra van Hal en de folkloristische balletgroep Corazón de México. De unieke concerten getiteld 'Viva México' worden gegeven op de vier woensdagavonden 7 juli, 28 juli, 11 augustus en 25 augustus van 20.00 tot 22.30 uur en op zondagmiddag 5 september van 16.00 tot 18.30 uur. Por ello, la Fundación Maria de Lourdes Voz de México, colaborando con la Embajada de México, organiza una serie de cinco conciertos en el famoso teatro al aire libre de Valkenburg con los artistas Carolina de Holanda, Mariachi Sol y Luna de Indra van Hal y el ballet folclórico Corazón de México. Las fechas de estas presentaciones muy mexicanas, que llevan como título 'Viva México', son: miércoles 7 de julio, 28 de julio, 11 de agosto y 25 de agosto de 20.00 a 22.30 horas y el domingo 5 de septiembre de 16.00 a 18.30 horas. At the same time the mexicans remember the revolution that started 100 years ago.
